Richard Rimmer

|
Richard has over twenty years as a consultant and advisor to companies
large and small. He was a partner at Price Waterhouse Consulting
and co-leader of Sundridge Park Management Centre.
His professional experience ranges from directing multi-lingual
teams, to guiding irascible Investment Bankers, to training independent
PW partners, to presenting the wondrous uses of new technology to
Cabinet Office members, to founding a dotcom.
He also writes and directs short films and is currently writing
a book on business culture called 'The Company We Keep'. |

Powell Jones

|
Powell is an award winning actor, writer and director.
As an actor he has worked in television, radio and theatre all over the world and his plays have been produced in the West End and off-Broadway.
As a teacher, he has taught voice and movement at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, The Arts Theatre, The British Theatre Association, the Weber-Douglas Academy in New York and the University of Delaware.
More recently he was acting Head of Drama at the City Lit. College in London. |

Graeme Kerr

Graeme is the founder of The Speaker's Studio.
He designs our training and coaching programmes and is the author of much of what you see on this site.
He was formerly a partner in Neruda Communications & Training where their research on presentation and experiential learning led to the idea of The Speaker's Studio Online.
His background is diverse and includes journalism, teaching and writing. For about 15 years he has been providing presentation training and
coaching for major organisations in the public and private sectors. |

Hugo has an expert understanding both
of traditional media and of the fast-evolving world of broadband
Internet and mobile communications.
As a former national newspaper film critic, he spent years gauging
the delivery of Hollywood's finest; as a reporter and feature writer,
he had to weigh the words of many kinds of interviewee, from technocrats
to terrorists.
Hugo combines detailed attention to the structure of communications
with a strong intuitive sense of what works or doesn't, for a particular
audience. |

Jess Davies

Jess has a background in drama and teaching.
Having worked as an actor and director, she brings a particular understanding of impact, movement, projection and all the physical aspects of performance.
Jess is also an experienced language trainer, helping foreign speakers of English from many fields and industries to write and deliver presentations.
As a certified NLP practitioner with years of experience as an educator, Jess has a wealth of useful techniques and tips. |

Guy Venables

Guy is light relief on our studious team.
He works intermittently as an actor, comedy writer, compere, television presenter and stand-up comedian.
He is also a regular cartoonist for The Spectator and Private Eye and produces superb visual aids for important presentations. |

Paul Collins

|
Paul has contributed to the strategic planning objectives of the European Space Agency and led a project team in the testing of telecom satellites.
Recently, he has been developing infrastructure for test and design activities for a major aerospace company.
He is an excellent communicator with wide experience in designing presentation materials and presenting at Board level.
He is also a great coach with a basic drive to help people develop and give of their best. |

Shilpa Unalkat

Shilpa is an experienced trainer and coach with
high level experience in the voluntary, private and public sectors.
As well as a keen intellect, she brings a rare passion and commitment
to her work.
After graduating from Law School, she worked as a corporate lawyer
with a leading global law firm and thereafter in the insurance and
IT industries.
She has a diploma in Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy and is a certified
NLP practitioner and business coach. |

| David Hallam

For five years, David was a Member of the European
Parliament based in Brussels and Strasbourg. He was a member of
standing delegations to African, Pacific and Caribbean/EU Parliamentary
Assembly; Slovak National Council and Israeli Knesset.
Prior to that he was a Public Relations and Communications Consultant.
He worked extensively in the charity sector and launched the acclaimed
'Children in Danger' campaign for the National Children's Home.
David recently published his first book and is currently handling
the re-launch of an African, Caribbean and Asian arts centre in
Birmingham. |
